Views from Cape Spear and Signal Hill

We visited three ports in Greenland; Nuuk, Qaqortoq and Nanortalik.

Nova Scotia is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. It is one of the three Maritime provinces and one of the four Atlantic provinces. Nova Scotia is Latin for “New Scotland”.

We spent the day visiting the Lost City of Petra. Trade routes moving to the sea led to the decline and abandonment of Petra in the 7th century A.D. It remained forgotten for over 1200 years until its discovery in 1812.

During our overnight stop in Dubai we toured the city, went to the top of Burj Khalifa, took a dinner cruise aboard a dhow on the Dubai Canal, raced over the dunes in a 4-wheel drive and rode a camel.

Stops here included everything from a slow walk with Komodo Dragons to a fast-paced ride on a tuk-tuk.

We spent the day on a 4-mile long gondola ride and then a 37-mile long train ride through a rainforest dating back 100 million years. Quite the experience.

After a spectacular sunrise sail in, we took a Big Bus hop-on-hop-off tour around this beautiful cit, where we saw highlights of the city, both old and new. Just when we were thinking it couldn’t be better, we were treated to fireworks display at the Sydney Opera House

We arrived in Melbourne at sunrise and left at sunset. Had a wonderful time visiting Ballarat, Australia while we were in port.
