Our excursion in Auckland was canceled, so we spent the day walking around the city. In Tauranga, we visited the Te Puia Thermal Reserve and Maori Arts and Crafts Institute.

The Bay of Islands is an area on the east coast of the Far North District of the North Island  of New Zealand. It encompasses 144 islands between Cape Brett and the Purerua Peninsula and includes the boutique towns of Opua, Paihia, Russell and Kerikeri.

American Samoa is an unincorporated territory of the United State.  The total land area is about 77 square miles, slightly more than Washington, D.C. Tuna products are the main exports, and the main trading partner is the rest of the United States. The tuna canning operation in Pago Pago accounts for roughly 60% of the territory’s employment.

We spent two days in French Polynesia and visited Tahiti and Moorea. We both agree it one of the prettiest places we’ve visited.

We spent our only day in Honolulu visiting Pearl Harbor.

Cartagena, Columbia

The walled historic center of the Old City has numerous winding streets lined with Spanish Colonial architecture with colorfully painted homes, shops, and restaurants.
